9-Day Uganda Gorillas + Masai Mara + Lake Nakuru Safari

Day 1 – Arrival Entebbe, Uganda
Land at Entebbe International Airport, meet your private driver, and transfer to your lakeside hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2 – Entebbe → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Board a domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip. Drive into the dense Bwindi forest, home to nearly half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Settle into your jungle lodge surrounded by mist and birdsong.

Day 3 – First Gorilla Trekking Experience
Early morning briefing, then trek into Bwindi’s lush rainforest with expert rangers. The terrain is steep, muddy, and breathtakingly alive. When you find your gorilla family, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour in their presence. Overnight back at your lodge.

Day 4 – Second Gorilla Trekking Experience
Another day, another trek, another family of gorillas. Each encounter is different: one may be playful, another tranquil, but both equally profound. Return to your lodge to relax and toast to two extraordinary days.

Day 5 – Bwindi → Entebbe → Masai Mara, Kenya
Fly back to Entebbe, then connect directly to the Masai Mara by scheduled bush flight. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the Mara plains, then overnight in your luxury tented camp.

Day 6 – Masai Mara Safari
Spend a full day immersed in one of Africa’s richest ecosystems. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, and if the timing is right see the Great Migration herds thundering across the savannah. Overnight in the Mara.

Day 7 – Masai Mara Safari
Another day to go deeper. Maybe today brings a leopard at sunrise, or a wildebeest river crossing. Your guide tailors the day around the best wildlife action. Overnight in the Mara.

Day 8 – Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, fly or drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for its rhinos, flamingos, and scenic Rift Valley landscapes. Afternoon game drive. Overnight lodge overlooking the lake.

Day 9 – Lake Nakuru → Nairobi → Departure
Enjoy a final game drive in the morning. After breakfast, drive (or short flight) to Nairobi. Depending on your schedule, stop for lunch or shopping before transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
